AVIVA Singapore Ironman 70.3 2009 - Race Report

Date : 22nd March 2009
Venue : The Playground, East Coast Park, Singapore
Time : 07:40 (wave start)

This was the third year the race had been held and the second time at this venue on a very similar course. The only noticeable difference between this year and last year was the revised swim course which consisted of a two lap two lane swim.

Following in the footsteps of Coach Vinnie...

I was always curious about where professional triathletes trained. What were the facilities like? What did they surround themselves with? What were the training routes like? Over the course of the past 3 days my questions have been answered - at least as far as the TeamTBB triathletes that is.
